Xchange 2026 is buildingSMART Australasia’s annual two-day event, running June 24-25, 2026 at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Day 1 is the openBIM with IFC Technical Seminar, with workshops covering core buildingSMART technologies and digital workflows for building and civil infrastructure projects.
Day 2 is a full-day conference focused on digital transformation in infrastructure and the role of open standards. The program includes government infrastructure delivery updates, new and upcoming digital standards, practical open standards case studies, and industry upskilling in Digital Engineering and BIM.
